this is how the beat drops..

Melody yawned a little as she leaned against the counter, it was unusually slow today. She watched silently as a few teenagers from the local middle school giggled over some random movie that they seemed to be looking at her. Her guess of course was that these little pre-teens had just discovered porn. Which to her was quiet amusing, but yeah. She pushed back from the counter, soon getting bored of just leaning there. So she did the next best thing that she knew to do, and that was to go around and make sure everything was in order. As she walked around the counter she couldnt help but shake her head as she saw the kids from before turning bright red and putting the movie back. She held back her laughter as she walked to the back of the store, humming to herself as she made sure that nothing was where it wasn't suppose to be. Squatting down she begin to occupy her mind, with looking through the new anime releases, she made a mental note as she did so to put some of these in the back for herself.

Melody placed the DVD that she had been looking at back on the shelf as she noticed someone entering the store. Standing back up to her full weight which really did not say much cause she was quiet short but then again she had heels on so she was a little taller then usual. Smiling she walked over to the girl that had just walked in, she paused for a second as she glanced at what she was looking at then she spoke,"Excuse me miss, can I help you with anything?" It was a question that she had asked a hundred times over, I mean when she didn't say it her boss got over her case so yeah. She was silent as she waited for the girl to talk, she shifted a little never being able to stand or sit still for too long, one of the many reasons she had decided to work her rather then at a restraunt or what not.

^{The young woman breathed in deeply as she heard the woman's voice, she knew with out even looking over that the woman was talking to her. Slowly she lifted her head and raised a hand, pushing the sunglasses up off of her eyes for a second before realizing that there was a hat on her head, that she couldn't very well push her glasses onto her head like she'd been intending. She rolled her eyes at herself and slipped the glasses off of her face, folding them up before hooking them in the front of her t-shirt. Slowly she shook her head, giving a pleasant enough smile to the other young woman as she let her eyes drag over her, taking in her appearance "No Thank you. I'm just lookin'" she said. She pulled her eyes from the girl as she looked back to the stack of DVDs. She rolled her eyes to herself as the heard a thick accented voice directed at her, remembering she didn't have her sunglasses on anymore. She made a face a raised a hand, pretending to have rolled her eyes because something was in them. After a moment she let her hand fall, attention turning to the young man and she couldn't help but let a little smile appear on the corner of her lips "Yes?" she asked quietly, unable to help but bat her eyelashes.}
