Meg shook her head a little bit "No set budget per say" she said with a little bit of a laugh, and a shrug. She looked at the girl "I really just wanted to see what you had. I like wasn't sure i'd even buy anything. I have nothing particular I'm looking for I just didn't want my walls to be all alone" she said with a smile. As beautiful as the painting was she wasn't sure it was beautiful enough for her to spend ninety on it. She shrugged a little bit and sighed "I'll probably more of a customer after I get more money" she said with a bit of a nod, quite frankly right now all she had was enough to feed herself and rent the apartment. She'd been keeping her eye out on craigslist for furniture because quite frankly she couldn't afford it. She turned, wandering back over to London which she noticed was no longer attached to her.

London smiled breifly when she walked back to him, watching her. He'd already volunteered to help her get into her apartment, and pick up any furinture that she got. His dad had a truck, and he could always borrow it to pick stuff up. He glanced at Colette again. So were they not buying anything today, or what. He wasn't sure now

She nodded gently in understanding looking down at her painting then back up at Meghan. "I hate to admit it, but even cheap art isn't all that cheap these days." She said gently looking down at the painting putting it back. "I think I may jus have something you could enjoy though." She said gently walking back over to the counter with her. She walked behind it and went to her bag under the counter and started to search for something. She found what she was looking for and came up with a roll of something in her hand. She slowly and carefully unraveled it to reveal a water color painting of a bouquet of lovely colorful gerbera daisies. "How does this suit you?" She asked sweetly looking from the painting to Meghan.

Meg looked up at London and smiled a little bit, she was beginning to feel rather awkward between him and Collette. There was something in the air and she knew it. She wasn't sure weather they were feeling the same thing but it was definitely awkward. Meg's attention was caught by Collette again and she half smiled at the picture "That's pretty" she said with a nod, leaning over to lean on the counter near London. She smiled a little bit and looked at Collette, she felt bad coming in and then not buying anything especially since she was being so helpful "I know of a perfect spot to put it too" she said with a little nod, thinking of the apartment that she was arranged to rent, she'd seen it for the first time just a couple weeks ago. She moved to adjust her big hat but found it not working, pulling it off the top of her head, leaving her brunette hair standing up slightly. She looked over at London and grinned, reaching out to place her maroon colored hat on top of his head.

London looked at the painting. Very...girly. He looked between Colette and Meghan. hm. Maybe this wasn't the greatest idea, as just a few weeks previously Colette had been trying to get into his pants....
He realized a hat was coming at his head and tried to dodge it, failing. "Oh why thank you" he said with a slight laugh, rolling his eyes "Nice hair" he added to her with a smile

She smiled softly and looked back down to the painting before she looked up at Meghan. "Okay, in that case, you can have it. I just feel kind of bad that you're coming in here looking for something and leaving empty handed." She admited gently brushing a hand up and down her arm for a moment. "What do you say?" She asked gently smiling sweetly as she tilted her head.

She just tried to ignor their playfulness, but it was hard. She didn't let it show though, or least she tried not to. She laughed at London and shook her head softly. She carefully rolled the water color painting back up and then held it out to Meghan with a gentle smile.

Meghan looked up at London wearing her hat as she moved to run her fingers through her hair, having got slightly self concious when he mentioned it. She couldn't help but look at him admiringly but her attention was quickly captured by the girl. She turned on her heels to face the girl "Wait...your just giving it to me?" she asked in disbelief, ok so maybe the girl wasn't bitter towards her. This was almost too kind, now Meg felt that maybe she owed the girl something. She'd take her to coffee, that was about all she had to offer. She smiled a little bit "Thank you so much" she said, watching the painting as it slid across the counter to her and she grasped it up, hugging it close to her chest. She looked over towards London who was still wearing her hat and she grinned "Doesn't he look pretty?" she teased.

well. That was nice of Colette. He wasn't sure why she was being so nice to her, he doubted that she'd give random strangers free paintings. He modeled the hat all feminine like when Meghan asked Colette if he looked pretty

She smiled softly a little proud of herself. Instead of letting the jealousy getting to herself she was being nice. She nodded her head softly. "That's right. I was going to sell it here, but something about it just didn't feel right." She said kindly smiling gently. She nodded her head at the girl's thanks. "You're welcome." She said sweetly. She looked to London and laughed sweetly at him and then shook his head. "Yes, he's absolutely marvelous." She said laughing softly before she looked down at the counter. She looked back up at Meghan smiling gently. "If you ever can fit in a few paintings into your budget, just drop by and I'll help you as much as I can." She said sweetly looking back to London. "So, what did you do with your portrait, London?" She asked sitting on the counter. She just wanted to know, she didn't really care what he did with it really.

London left the hat on for Meghan, looking to Colette when she said his name, his hand reaching for Meghan, resting on her lower back again "Oh. It's sitting on my kitchen counter still right now" he said, nodding with a slight shrug. He didn't really have room for it on his walls, and wasn't sure if someone was supposed to hang a picture of themselves in their apartment. Maybe he'd give it to his mom or sister or something. Though neither of them really approved of him smoking. His free hand nudged the edge of his shirt up, scratching his flat stomach, and then dropped again.

Meghan smiled as she felt London's hand against her back and she slowly moved into him, resting her small body against his, her head moving to rest against his chest. It was almost like instinct to dangle him in Collette's face and she frowned when she realized she was doing it, scolding herself. She shifted her weight, standing up straight again. Still hugging the painting to her chest she smiled at Collette "Well thank you" she said, nodding down at the painting "I'll take you to coffee sometime. I know that doesn't cover the cost but it's something" she said with a bit of a laugh.

She nodded her head listening to London gently. She understood that it wasn't up yet. It wouldn't surprise her if he felt a little vain having a portrait of himself, but she just didn't feel right with the idea of selling it. She looked back to Meghan and smiled gently. "No, you don't have to do anything to pay me back. I like to dabble around with water color occassionally. I can always try for another if I need to." She said sweetly looking back at Meghan. She just ignored the jealousy that was stabing at her. She almost felt as if Meghan was purposly dangeling their playfulness infront of her just to get to her, but she didn't let it. She'd throw her little hissy fit once Meghan and London were out of sight and hearing range.

London felt the tension in the air building and looked at Meghan when she straightened again "Are you ready to go then?" he asked her, putting his free hand into his pocket, glancing between the two girls again. Eh, what're you gonna do. Any guy likes to be the object between two girls, but the wasn't gonna exploit it or anything. that'd be ridiculous

Meg nodded a little bit "Yeah" she said with a little smile, glancing up at him. She reached up to take the hat off his head and place it back on her head, adjusting her hair slightly. She looked to Collette and smiled "Thank you. I'm gonna hang this as soon as I move in" she said with a little bit of a nod, hugging the painting tight. She moved away from the counter and nodded her head as a good bye to Collette, heading to the door.

She smiled gently and nodded her head gently. "I hope you enjoy it." She said sweetly as she nodded her head in goodbye in return. She glanced at London and gave him a gentle smile and nodded her head to him in goodbye as well. She then came out behind the counter and went back to the storage room to get started on packing those things for the delivery.
