It was a late night. Noel was half asleep at the front counter, seeing how it was 4am. These kinds of stores tended to be really busy at night, as no one wants to get caught going in or out of them during the day, you know. But that meant that big old pregnant girls had to be there to make sure people weren't stealing dildos.
She had her ipod turned on, with the little travel speakers on the counter. The only option for music in the back room was the weird mix that they played over the speakers, and she really preferred to bring her own. Only so much of that that you can stand, after all.
Noel yawned again and turned the page of the magazine she was reading
